Following a brief slideshow (shown below) we shared information about the students that they had originally shared with us on an information sheet years before. We worshipped to songs that were class favorites, had a foot washing ceremony and then finished things up with the annual candle carrying moment when students could go up to each senior and express their feelings to them as well as their appreciation for them. When it was all said and done, we brought the entire group in around the seniors and we prayed over them...
Not only is this a great group of seniors to say goodbye to, but it's also an outstanding youth group to say goodbye to. We've had so many great times together and we share so many memories... I wish you well in the advancement of the group in the coming years. I can't wait to see what God does through the group and through the lives of each and every one of you!

I can tell you that the cost per person at the facility we would be staying at would be $35 per day (which includes all meals, rooming, transportation from airport and back to airport, as well as transportation to Antigua for "an off day of touring").
I'm also working with a reliable travel agent to get us the best possible flight setup for the trip with the lowest cost.
On your part, if you are interested in accompanying us on this wonderful trip/opportunity/experience, you'll need to start the process of getting a passport if you don't already have one. Immunizations are not required, but the decision to get them will be strictly up to you. Starting this week in the ROC, students will be able to sign up for the trip. I hope that you are as excited about this opportunity as I am, and I hope you will be "all in" as next summer approaches.
